为规范和加强我校留学生的教学管理工作,根据教育部有关外国留学生在华学习的教学管理规定和《taptap点点安卓下载学生课程考核办法》,结合我校留学生的实际情况,特制定本管理办法。
第一章 课程考核组织
第一条 留学生课程考核是在一门课程学习结束时教师对学生的学习表现和学习效果所作的综合评价;课程考核成绩应既能够真正反映学生在课程学习过程中的学习表现,又能够反映学生的知识、能力和素质提高情况。
第二条留学生课程考核工作应在主管副校长领导下,由国际学院院长办公会依照本办法组织和管理,国际学院教务科具体组织实施。
第三条 课程考核前要制定考核工作安排,对命题、监考、试卷评阅和成绩评定等工作进行周密布置,并采取一定形式对学生进行学风、考纪教育。
第二章 考核形式与命题
第四条 课程考核类型分为考试和考查两种。课程考试一般在学校集中安排的考试时间内完成,课程考查可采取任课教师在课程学习结束时对学生的学习效果进行笔试,也可采取学生根据任课教师的要求在课后自行完成设计、调查报告、论文、计划书、制作等形式完成。
第五条 课程考核方式包括闭卷笔试、开卷笔试、口试、平时作业、调查报告、读书笔记、实验实习报告、课程论文、课程设计、课堂讨论、单元测验、期中测验、案例分析、文献综述、实践技能考核、艺术创作等多种形式。
第六条 课程考核内容既要能考核学生对所学基本知识的掌握情况,又要能考核学生对知识的应用能力。理论性较强的课程可重点考核学生对所学基本知识的掌握情况,实践性较强的课程应重点考核学生的实践能力和创新能力。
第七条 认真做好命题工作:
(一)各教学学院应选派政治素质好、业务水平高、工作责任心强的教师承担命题工作。
(二)各教学学院应积极建立和完善试题库(试卷库)。有试题库的课程由学院指定的命题人负责从试题库中抽题组卷,有试卷库的课程由学院主管教学院长负责从试卷库中抽卷,既无试题库又无试卷库的课程由学院指定的命题人负责命题。组卷或命题前,各教学学院应组织有关人员根据课程教学大纲和考试大纲编制好命题计划,并将命题计划给命题人。
(三)命题必须以考试大纲为依据,难易适度,深广结合,覆盖面要大,区分度要高,有助于培养学生分析问题和解决问题的能力。
(四)平行班同时开设的、教学要求相同的课程,应统一命题。
(五)每门课程应同时编制两套覆盖面、难易度、题量、题型相当的试题,供考试时选用,并提供参考答案和评分标准,试卷应归入试卷库存档。
(六)编制好的命题计划及试卷,由教研室主任审核,学院主管教学的院长审定后,于考试前2周送国际学院教务科印制。
(七)命题人及接触试卷有关人员必须认真做好试卷保密工作,对造成试卷泄密者,将按有关规定进行处理。
第三章 考试资格与缓考
第八条 留学生应当参加培养方案规定的课程和各种教育教学环节(以下统称课程)的考核,考核成绩记入成绩册,并归入本人档案。
留学生有以下情况之一的,不得参加该门课程的学期考核,不予评定成绩。
(一)无故缺课累计达到该门课程学期总学时数的三分之一以上(含三分之一,下同)的:
(二)缺交该课作业达三分之一以上的;
(三)缺做该课实验达三分之一以上的;
(四)缺交实验报告达三分之一以上的;
(五)实验实习考核不及格的。
每学期期末考试前10个工作日内,由任课教师及班主任负责审核留学生考核资格,将取消考核资格的留学生名单,送国际学院学生管理科复核后报国际学院分管副院长、院长审批,由学生管理科通知留学生本人不得参加该门课程考核,并报国际学院教学管理科备案。
第九条 留学生应按时参加所修课程的考核,一般不得缓考。若因病或其他特殊原因不能按时参加课程考核的, 需在考核前向班主任提交《taptap点点安卓下载留学生缓考申请表》及有关证明,经国际学院教学管理科同意,并报国际学院分管院长、院长批准后方可缓考。国际学院教学管理科应将留学生缓考申请存档,并将其申请复印件送交所修课程的任课教师。被批准缓考的学生,应当及时凭缓考证参加下一学期开学初举行的补缓考,缓考成绩以实得分数记载。
第四章 成绩评定与管理
第十条 课程考核和成绩评定。
(一)课程考核类型分为考试和考查,成绩采用百分制评分。
(二)课程成绩应包括平时成绩和期末成绩,考试与考查课程总评成绩中平时成绩所占比例分别为40%、50%,期末考试成绩所占比例为分别为60%、50%。
平时成绩根据考勤、参与讨论表现、作业完成情况、实验完成情况、读书笔记完成情况、平时测验和期中测验成绩等评定。为确保平时成绩评定的客观公正,各任课教师平时必须对学生的上课考勤、课堂表现、作业完成情况、实验完成情况、读书笔记完成情况、平时测验和期中测验成绩等认真、详细做好记录。
实践性教学环节(含专业实习、毕业实习、社会调查、毕业论文等)在结束时进行考核。
不进行期末考核的实验课、课程设计等实践教学环节根据学生平时表现、读书笔记完成情况、实验完成情况、实验报告、课程设计完成情况和课程设计报告等评定课程成绩。实习(见习)和毕业设计(论文)按照taptap点点安卓下载有关规定评定成绩。
第十一条 各课程的具体考核类型、考核形式、考核内容和成绩评定办法由各教学学院根据课程特点讨论确定,并写入课程教学大纲。
第十二条 各任课教师必须在第一堂课时向学生讲清楚该课程的考核类型、考核形式、成绩评定办法和平时成绩评分细则。
课程学习结束前一周,任课教师根据该课程的平时成绩评分细则和记录情况客观评定学生平时成绩,并向学生公示平时成绩和评定依据。
第十三条 考试阅卷工作由国际学院负责组织,要求集中分题阅卷。阅卷教师应按照评分标准客观、公正地评阅试卷。
第十四条 补考、旷考、考试违纪和作弊课程的成绩评定。
(一)学生课程学期补考时,补考课程的成绩评定办法按照该课程的成绩评定办法执行,平时成绩采用其该课程学习时的平时成绩。毕业补考和重新学习时按考试成绩评定课程考核成绩。
(二)未参加考试又未办理缓考手续者视为旷考,学生旷考的课程,该门课程为零分,并纳入其平均学分绩的计算,取消课程正常补考资格,只能参加毕业补考。
(三)学生严重违反考试纪律或者考试作弊的,该课程考试成绩记为无效,并按零分纳入平均学分绩的计算,取消课程学期补考资格,并视其违纪或者作弊情节,给予批评教育和相应的纪律处分。
给予留校察看及以下处分的,经教育表现较好,没有再出现严重违反考试纪律或者作弊行为的,在毕业前可申请参加国际学院安排的毕业补考。
第十五条 任课教师应在考试后四天内完成成绩评定和成绩录入工作,在纸质成绩单(一式三份)上签名,经开课学院分管教学院长审核盖章后,任课教师要将学生成绩录入教务管理系统,纸质稿成绩一份存教师本人,一份存开课学院,一份由开课学院统一交国际学院教学管理科。
第十六条 原始成绩档案(试卷、成绩单)由国际学院教学管理科严格管理,不得遗失、涂改,除工作需要外不得随意查阅。
学生对考试成绩有异议,可以要求核查试卷。查卷须在下一学期开学一周内向课程所属学院提出申请(逾期不再受理),经分管教学院长批准,由学院指定2名教师核查试卷,如有更改须在更改处签名以示责任。
第十七条 学生成绩归入学籍档案后,一般不予更改。如因故确须更改,由课程所属学院提出申请,说明情况(并附相关材料),经国际学院院长办公会议讨论通过,报主管校长审核签字,再由国际学院教学管理科负责修正录入。
第十八条 国际学院及相关教学学院对试卷评阅、试卷保管、成绩评定和录入电脑的成绩负责,国际学院教学管理科对成绩管理负责,不得应学生的要求加分,否则视为协同作弊,并追究当事人责任。
第十九条 每学期期末,任课老师应在考核工作结束后五天内将留学生学期总评成绩填入成绩报告单,经国际学院院长签字后交送学院教务科。教务科应及时汇总全院留学生学期全部考核成绩,并记入留学生本人学籍档案。
第五章 监考职责
第二十条 监考人员职责:
(一)监考人员应在考前熟悉考场位置,考试前15分钟到指定地点领取试卷。
(二)开考前10分钟到达考场,清理考场(确保考生身边没有与考试有关的资料和书籍),并随机编排考生座位,必须确保考生均匀分布在整个考场。
(三)开考前监考人员必须向考生宣布考试纪律和有关注意事项,强调考试期间不得打开手机等通信工具,一经发现一律作舞弊论处;认真验查学生的学生证(或护照)和准考证,没有学生证(或护照)和准考证的学生不能参加考试。无故未交清学费的学生不得领取准考证。
(四)监考时,认真执行监考纪律,坚守岗位,不准擅离考场,不准在考场内吸烟、阅读书报和谈笑,不得向考生解释题意或进行暗示,不准拨打和接听手机。考试结束时间到,应当即通知考生停止答题,不得拖延交卷时间。
(五)监考教师必须根据监考程序执行情况认真填写《taptap点点安卓下载监考程序执行情况登记表》。学生考试有违纪现象时,要及时将违纪情况填入《taptap点点安卓下载监考程序执行情况登记表》中,并要求违纪学生签名确认,同时将有关证据材料附表后。
(六)考试结束后,及时收齐试卷,仔细检查试卷份数与考生人数是否相符,然后装订密封并填写考试情况和签名。
(七)及时将试卷和《taptap点点安卓下载监考程序执行情况登记表》交有关学院教务科办公室试卷保管人员保管。
第二十一条 监考人员应严格遵守教学纪律,认真履行监考职责,自始至终维持好考场秩序。对不认真履行监考人员职责的,一经查实,应及时进行通报,并按《taptap点点安卓下载教学事故认定与处理办法》进行处理。
第二十二条 学校成立考试巡视组,对考场情况和监考人员履行职责情况进行巡视检查,并将检查情况及时向全校通报。各学院必须安排人员对每天的考试情况进行检查,及时处理检查中发现的问题。
第六章 考试纪律
第二十三条 考场规则:
(一)考生要按规定的考试时间提前10分钟进入考场,服从监考人员安排,隔位就座;
(二)除必要的文具和开卷考试科目所允许的工具书和参考书外,所有书籍、讲义、笔记、无线通讯工具、电子辞典、有存储功能的计算器等物品不得带入考场座位,必须放在监考人员指定的位置。
(三)将学生证(或身份证)和准考证放在桌面,无学生证(或身份证)和准考证者不准参加考试;
(四)迟到30分钟以上者,不得进入考场,按旷考处理;
(五)考试30分钟后,才准予交卷出场。未交卷且未经监考人员允许擅自离开考场的,不得重新进入考场继续答卷,该课程以旷考论处;
(六)考生须提前交卷者,应举手示意请监考人员收卷后方可离开考场;
(七)考试结束时间到,考生应立即停止答卷,在座位上等待监考人员收卷清点后,方可离场;
(八)考生交卷后应立即离开考场,不得在考场内逗留或在考场附近高声交谈。
第二十四条 考生要严格遵守考场规则,认真、诚实地在规定的时间内独立完成答卷。凡不服从监考人员安排,违反考场规则或作弊者,给予相应的纪律处分,直至开除学籍。
第七章 考试违纪、作弊的认定
第二十五条 考生有下列情况之一的,为一般违反考试纪律,应当场给予口头警告并予以纠正:
(一)未经允许自带答题纸或草稿纸的;
(二)未经允许使用或借用计算器的;
(三)考试中东张西望,企图偷看他人答卷的;
(四)开卷考试中借用他人的书、笔记、资料等物品的;
(五)对监考老师有不尊重言行的。
第二十六条考生有下列情况之一的,以严重违反考试纪律认定,且该门课程考核成绩记为无效,取消正常补考资格:
(一)考试中交头接耳的;
(二)把答卷或有字迹的草稿纸移向邻座或竖起,为他人偷看提供方便的;
(三)他人强拿自己的答卷或草稿纸未加拒绝或报告的;
(四)用某种示意、动作互相传递有关考试信息的。
第二十七条 考生有下列情况之一的,以考试作弊认定,且该门课程成绩记为无效,取消正常补考资格:
(一)发放试卷以后,身边有或夹带有与考试内容有关的物品(不论看与否);
(二)在桌面、身上等处写有与考试有关的内容的(不论看与否);
(三)传接纸条或试卷(不论是否抄用);
(四)强拿他人的试卷、答卷或草稿纸(不论是否抄用);
(五)不按监考人员要求将手机等无线通讯工具放到指定地点,且处于开机状态的(手机中没有与考试相关的内容);
(六)其它以不正当手段获得或试图获得试题答案、考试成绩的。
第二十八条 考生有下列情况之一的,以严重考试作弊认定,且该门课程成绩记为零分:
(一)使用电子记事本、电子辞典、有文字存储功能的计算器作弊;
(二)使用手机等无线通讯工具作弊;
(三)请人代考;
(四)代人考试;
(五)组织考试作弊;
(六)其它作弊行为严重的。
第二十九条 毕业论文(设计)有剽窃、抄袭或伪造行为者,经调查属实,视情节轻重、影响程度,以考试作弊或严重考试作弊认定,且毕业论文(设计)成绩记为无效。
第八章 考试违纪、作弊的认定处理程序
第三十条 考试中的违纪、作弊行为,以监考人员或巡考人员的现场认定为依据。监考人员应将违纪、作弊考生的姓名、学号、违纪作弊主要情节在《taptap点点安卓下载监考程序执行情况登记表》中如实记录并签名,连同试卷和物证于该课程考试结束后及时交考试组织学院,考试组织学院当天须填写《考试违纪、作弊学生汇总表》,连同《taptap点点安卓下载监考程序执行情况登记表》和证据材料一并交国际学院教管管理科。
巡考人员发现考生违纪作弊,应立即向考场监考人员说明情况,由监考人员按上述办法处理。巡考人员应在《taptap点点安卓下载监考程序执行情况登记表》上签名。
教师在评卷或其他情况下发现的作弊问题,要及时书面(连同物证)报告考试组织部门。
第三十一条 对考试违纪、作弊的处理,由学生工作管理部门依照《taptap点点安卓下载学生违纪处分条例》执行。
第九章 附 则
第三十二条 本办法适用于学校组织的课程考试,其中第五、六、七、八章也适用于学校负责组织的其它各类考试(若有特殊规定的考试,按其规定执行)。
第三十三条 本办法由留学生工作办公室负责解释。
第三十四条 本办法自颁布之日起执行。
Rules and Regulations for Foreign Students Course Assessment Management in Jinggangshan University
For normalizing the foreign students teaching management in our university, the following rules and regulations are made in accordance with the regulations and laws for the teaching management of the foreign students in China by China’s Minstry of Education and Rules and Regulations for Students Course Assessment Management in Jinggangshan University(hereinafter referred to as JGSU) and in connection with the actual conditions of foreign students in our university.
Chapter 1 Course Assessment Organization
Article 1 Course assessment for foreign students is a comprehensive evaluation of a teacher’s to the students’ learning performance and results at the end of a course’s study. The assessment results can truly reflect not only foreign students’s learning performance at study of a course but also their improved situations of knowledge ,power and makings.
Article 2 Course assessment work for foreign students should be submitted to the leadership of vice president in charge of foreign students’ affairs,organized and managed by the dean office of the International School and implemented concretely by the Academic Section of the International School.
Article 3 It is necessary to make work arrangement ,carefully lay out papers-setting ,invigilation,exam papers-marking and assessment of results and adopt a certain form to cary out education of the style of study and examination discipline among foreign students.
Chapter 2 Forms of Course Assessment and Papers-setting
Article 4 Types of course assessment include exam and check up.Course exams are generally finished in theassigned time arranged in a unified way by the university.Checkups can be carried out in various forms,including written exams by the classroom teacher for testing teaching effect to the foreign students at the end of course study and designs, investigation reports,essays ,plans and products completed by foreign students themselves after class according to the classroom teacher’s requirements.
Article5 Course assessment includes closed-book written exams,open-book written exams, oral exams, daily work,investigation reports, reading notes,lab reports,practice reports,course papers, course designs,classroom discussion,unit tests,mid-term exams, case analysis,literature review,practical skills tests,art creation and other forms.
Article 6 Course assessment aims at examining not only foreign students’mastery of the basic knowledge learned but also their
application of the knowledge.In assessing courses with fairly theoretical value emphasis can be put on foreign students’ mastery of the basic knowledge learned while in assessing courses with fairly practical value emphasis can be put on their ability of practice and innovation.
Article 7 How to conscientiously do a good job in setting papers
1.Every academic school should choose those teachers with good political quality,high academic level and a strong sense of responsibility for papers-setting.
2.Each academic school should take an active part in establishing and
Perfecting exam-paper database(testlibrary) . Teachers appointe by the academic school for papers-setting are responsible for extracting questions from the exam-paper database and assembling a paper for a course with an exam-paper database . For a course with a testlibrary the school dean in charge of teaching is responsible for extracting papers from the testlibrary.And for a course with neither exam-paper database nor testlibrary teachers appointe by the academic school for papers-setting are responsible for designing papers.Before paper assembling or setting
each academic school should organize the personnel concerned to make a plan for paper designing based on the teaching program and exam syllabus of the course and send it to the persons in charge of paper-setting.
3.Test designing should be based on the examination syllabus with moderate difficulty ,a combination of depth and breadth and high area indexing and help to cultivate foreign students’ ability to analyse and solve problems.
4.For a course offered at the same time in parallel classes with the same teaching requirements exam papers should be set in a unified way.
5.Two sets of exam papers with similar coverage scope,difficulty,
quantity and type ,provided with reference answers and grading standard for each course should be designed for choice in exam .The exam papers should enter the testlibrary on file.
6.The worked out plan and exam papers should be submitted to head of teaching and research office for check and to the school dean in charge of teaching affairs for approval and be sent to the Academic Management Section of the International School for print.
7.People in charge of papers-setting and the personnel contacted with papers should conscientiously do a good job in confidential work.Papers leakers shall be punished in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations.
Chapter 3 Examination Qualifications and Deferment of Exam
Article 8 Foreign students should take exams for courses and various kinds of education and teaching procedures(hereinafter collectively referred to as course) and their exam results will enter results lists and be put into their personal files.
Any foreign student who has one of the following cases is not permitted to take the semester exam for a course and shall not be graded.
1.whose absence from class without reason adds up to one third or above of the term’s total class hours for the course
2.whose failure to hand in daily work for the course adds up to one third of the total assignments
3.whose absence from experiments for the course adds up to one third of the total
4.whose failure to hand in the course’s experiment reports adds up to one third of the total
5.who fails in the experimental practice exam for the course
In ten working days before final exams each term classroom teachers and class adviser shall be responsible for verifying foreign students’ qualification for exam and submitting the list of foreign students whose exam qualifications have been cancelled to the Foreign Students Management Section of the International School for check and to the vice dean in charge of exams and dean of the International School for approval.The Foreign Students Management Section shall inform those foreign students that they shall not be permitted to take the exam for the course and send the information to the Teaching Management Section of the International School for file.
Article 9 A foreign student should take the exam for the course majored in time and is generally not permitted to defer it.In case any foreign student is unable to take the exam for the course in time for illness or some other particular reason,he or she should hand in an application of deferment of exam for foreign students in JGSU and related evidence to the class adviser before the exam and shall be permitted to defer it under the approval of the vice dean in charge of exams and dean of the International School via the Teaching Management Section of the International School.
The Teaching Management Section of the International School shall keep the application on record and copy it to the classroom teacher of the major course .The foreign student approved for deferment of exam shall take the make-up test in time by the admission card for deferment at the beginning of next term .The make-up result shall be recorded with the obtained score.
Chapter 4 Course Grade Evaluation and Management
Article 10 Course assessment and grade evaluation
1.Types of course assessment include exam and check up and the assessment results use percentage grading system.
2.Course grades consist of usual results and final exam achievements. Usual results account for 40% and 50% of the total grades respectively for an exam course and a check up course and final exam achievements account for 60% and 50% of the total grades respectively for an exam course and a check up course.
Usual results are judged by class attendance,performance in discussion,accomplishment of daily work,experiment and reading notes ,results of quizzes and mid-term exams. For ascertaining the judgement of usual results objective and fair,classroom teachers should keep careful and detailed records about foreign students’class attendance, performance in class,accomplishments of daily work,experiment and reading notes ,results of quizzes and mid-term exams.
Practical teaching procedures (including professional practice, graduation practice,social investigation ,graduation thesis,etc.)are evaluated in the end.
Results for lab courses ,curriculum designs and other practical teaching procedure without final exams are evaluated by foreign students’usual performance, accomplishments of reading notes,experiment,lab reports and accomplishment of curriculum design and curriculum design reports .Achievements for practice(probation) and graduation design(thesis) are assessed in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations stipulated by JGSU.
Article 11 Specific evaluation type,form and content, and methods of achievement assessment for each course shall be discussed and determined by each academic school in compliance with the features of a course and shall be written into the syllabus of each course.
Article 12 Each classroom teacher should give his or her foreign students a clear account of evaluation type and form ,methods of achievement assessment and specific scoring rules for usual results .
A week before the end of course learning,the classroom teacher should give an objective evaluation of the foreign students’usual results in accordance with the specific scoring rules for usual results of that course and his or her record of facts and make public the usual results and evaluation basis to the foreign students.
Article 13 Examination papers marking shall be organized by the International School and required to be conducted collectively and topic by topic.Exam markers should grade the papers objectively and fairly in accordance with grading standard.
Article 14 Course grade evaluation for make-up,absence from exam without reason,violation of disciplines in or cheating on a course exam
1.Results for a term make up are evaluated in accordance with the method of assessment for that course.The usual results recorded during the study of that course are still used as daily achievements for the make-up course.Course assessment results are evaluated with the exam success for graduation make-up or restudy of a course.
2.Staying away from exam and no formalities of deferment of exam are regarded as absence from exam without reason,for which the grade of the course shall be recorded as zero and brought into the calculation of the foreign student’s grade point average.The foreign student shall be disqualified for normal make-up for that course and only permitted to take graduation make-up.
3. Should a foreign student severely violate exam disciplines or cheat in exam ,the exam grade for that course shall be recorded as zero and brought into the calculation of the examinee’s grade point average.The foreign student shall be criticized or receive corresponding disciplinary actions in accordance with the nature of disciplinary violation or cheating.
Anyone who received disciplinary probation or below but has behaved well through education and has no longer violated disciplines or cheated in exam shall be permitted to apply for graduation make-up arranged by the International School.
Article 15 A classroom teacher should accomplish exam results evaluation and recording in 4 days after the exam and sign his or her name on the paper report cards in triplicate. After the verification and signature by the course-given school’s vice dean or dean in charge of teaching ,the classroom teacher shall record the foreign students’exam results into the teaching management system. One copy of the paper report cards shall be left in the classroom teacher’s care ,one in thc course-given school and the other sent in collection to the Teaching Management Section of the International School by the course-given school.
Article 16 The original result files(exam papers, report cards )shall be kept under the strict management of the Teaching Management Section of the International School,mustn’t be lost , altered or consulted randomly except for work demand.
A foreign student who has objections to his or her exam results is permitted to apply for verifying his or her exam papers.The application must be put to the course-given school in a week at the beginning of next term (it’ll not be accepted overdue) and submitted to the vice dean or dean in charge of teaching for approval. The school shall appoint two teachers for the verification and any alterations require signature.
Article 17 After into the archives,foreign students’exam results are generally not permitted to be altered . In the event there is a need to alter,the course-given school should make an application ,giving an account of the case(enclosing the relevant material) , submit it to the dean office of the International School for acceptance after discussion and report it to the vice president in charge of the International School for verification and signature.The Teaching Management Section of the International School shall be responsible for its alteration and recording.
Article 18 The International School and other related academic schools shall be responsible for examination papers marking and keeping, results evaluation and the exam results input into the computer and the Teaching Management Section of the International School shall be responsible for the management of exam results.No exam scores should be increased at the request of any foreign student.Otherwise ,it shall be regarded as collaborative cheating and the persons concerned shall be punished.
Article 19 At the end of each term a classroom teacher should fill foreign students’total term results in their report cards and submit them to the Academic Section of the International School after the signature by the dean of the International School.The Academic Section should collect the total term assessement results of foreign students and record into foreign students’ personal archives.
Chapter 5 The Duties of Supervision
Article 20 Duties of examiners :
1.Before the exam the examiner should familiarize himself or herself with the test room and go to the appointed place to get exam papers .
2.Ten minutes before the exam the examiner should arrive at the test room ,clean it up to make sure the examinee has no material and books related with the exam at hand and arrange the examinee’s seat at random so as to make sure all the examinees are equidistributed in the whole test room.
3.Before open test the examiner should declare exam disciplines and attentions concerned to the examinee ,stressing that cellphones and other communication tools are not permitted to be left at power on during the exam ,otherwise the examinee shall be treated as a fraud crime once found.The examiner should also carefully check the foreign students’ID cards(or passports) and admission tickets.Any foreign student without ID card(or passport) and admission ticket shall not be permitted to take an exam and a foreign student who has not paid off his or her tuition shall not be permitted to get admission ticket.
4.During the supervision the examiner should carry out the disciplines for invigilation and hold fast to his or her own position, not permitted to take the liberty of leaving the test room ,or smoke ,or read books or newspapers,or talk and laugh in the test room.They shall not permitted either to interpret an exam question or give a hint to the examinee, or make or receive a call. When time for exam comes to an end the exminee should be asked to stop answering questions and not delay handing their test papers.
5.The examiner must carefully fill in Registration of Implementation of Monitoring Program in JGSU in accordance with the real situations of monitoring program implementation.If a foreign student commits violation of discipline in exam, it should timely be recorded in the Registration of Implementation of Monitoring Program in JGSU in which the foreign student violating discipline should sign his or her name for confirmation and the evidence material concerned should be attached.
6.At the end of the exam the examiner should timely collect the exam papers ,carefully unify the number of papers with that of the examinees , bind and seal the papers and fill in the exam situations and put his or her signature.
7.The examiner should timely hand in the exam papers and Registration of Implementation of Monitoring Program in JGSU to the papers keeper of the academic office of the related school.
Article 21 The examiner should strictly observe school disciplnes, earnestly perform invigilation duties and keep well the exam order.Anyone who fails to perform his or her invigilation duties earnestly shall be timely notified and be disciplined according to Identification and Treatment of Teaching Accidents in JGSU once verified.
Article 22 The University sets up an examination inspection group, making an inspection to exam rooms and examiners’fulfillment of duties and timely notifying the results of inspection to the whole university. Each school must arrange personnel to inspect everyday’s examination and timely solve problems found .
Chapter 6 Examination Disciplines
Article 23 The examination disciplines are as follows:
1.The examinee must arrive at the examination room ten minutes in advance , obey the instructions of the examiner and sit in every other seat.
2.Except for the necessary stationery and reference books permitted in open-book exam subjects,all the books,lecture-notes,notes,wireless communication tools,electronic dictionaries and calculators with memory function are not be permitted to be brought into examination seats but should be put in a place appointed by the examiner.
3.Student ID cards(or ID card) and admission tickets must be put on the desks.Anyone without student ID card (or ID card) and admission ticket is not permitted to attend the exam.
4.The examinee who is late for 15 minutes is not permitted to attend the exam and shall be considered as absence from exam.
5.The examinee is not permitted to hand in his or her paper within half an hour.Anyone who leaves the examination room without handing in his or her paper or the permission of the examiner shall not be permitted to return and continue the exam and shall be considered as absence from exam for that course.
6.The examinee who needs to hand in his or her paper ahead of time must raise his or her hand to ask the examiner to collect his or her paper and then leave the exam room.
7.When the exam time is over ,the examinee must stop answering the paper immediately and stay in the seat waiting for the examiner to collect the paper and then leave the room.
8.After handing the paper the examinee must leave the room without delay.They are not permitted to stay in the exam room nor make big noise around the room.
Article 24 The examinee must strictly observe the examination rules and finish answering the paper carefully,honestly and indepently within the time stipulated. Anyone who does not obey the arrangement of the examiner and violates the exam rules or cheats in exam shall be disciplined accordingly up to expulsion from school.
Chapter 7 Affirmation of Violation of Disciplines and Cheating in Exam
Article 25 Any examinee who has one of the following cases is affirmed as common violation of exam disciplines and should be warned verbally and requested to correct it.
1.who brings answer sheet or draft paper without permission
2.who uses or borrows a calculator without permission
3.who looks round and takes a peck at other’s paper
4.who borrows other’s books,notes and reference material in an open-book exam
5. who shows disrespectful words or deeds to the examiner
Article 26 Any examinee who has one of the following cases is affirmed as cheating in exam ,shall receive an exam result invalid and be cancelled his or her qualification for normal make-up.
1.who brings or smuggles exam-related stuffs on oneself (no matter whether the examinee peeks or not)
2.who writes things related with exam on the desk or on one’s body (no matter whether the examinee peeks or not)
3.who passes sheets or test papers (no matter whether the examinee copies or not)
4. who extorts someone else’s exam paper,answer sheets or draft paper(no matter whether the examinee copies or not)
5.who refuses to put his or her cellphone or other wireless communication tools to a given place arranged by the examiner and keeps the phone in a on state(there is not any information related with the exam in the cellphone)
6.who resorts to dishonest means to obtain or attempt to obtain test keys or results
Article 27 Any examinee who has one of the following cases is affirmed as severe cheating in exam ,shall receive a zero course grade and be cancelled his or her qualification for normal make-up.
1.who cheats by means of an electronic notebook,an electronic dictionary or a text storage function calculator
2. who cheats by means of the cellphone or other communication tools
3.who has a ghost examinee
4.who acts as a ghost examinee
5.who organizes exam cheating
6.who commits other severe cheating in exam
Article 28 Any foreign student who resorts to plagiarism ,copy or forgery in his or her graduation thesis or design shall be affirmed as exam cheating or severe exam cheating according to the seriousness of the case and influence degree once the investigation proves true and the evaluation result for the thesis or design shall be recorded as invalid.
Chapter 8 Procedures for Affirmation of Violation of Disciplines and Cheating in Exam
Article 29 Violation of disciplines or cheating in exam shall be affirmed on the spot by the examiner or exam inspection personnel .The examiner shall record faithfully the foul foreign student’s name,roll number and the main circumstances of the exam violation and cheating in Registration of Implementation of Monitoring Program in JGSU with signature and submit timely the exam paper and the documentary evidence to the exam-organized school after the exam. The exam-organized school should fill in the Summary of the Foreign Students Violating Disciplines and Cheating in Exam for the day and hand it together with the Registration of Implementation of Monitoring Program in JGSU and the documentary evidence to the Teaching Management Section of the International School.
In case that exam inspection personnel find any foreign student violating discipline or cheating in exam ,they should immediately make the examiner see light and the examiner shall treat the case according to the above approach.The exam inspection personnel should sign their names on the Registration of Implementation of Monitoring Program in JGSU .
A teacher who finds out cheating in exam in his or her exam marking or other circumstances should timely send a report in writing and the documentary evidence to the exam-organized department.
Article 30 The student work management shall perform the punishment for exam dsciplinery violation and cheating in accordance with Rules and Regulations on Disciplinary Punishments for Students in JGSU.
Chapter 9 Supplementary Provisions
Article 31 These rules and regulations shall be available for course examinations organized by the university among which Chapter5,6 ,7 and 8 are also available for other kinds of exams organized by the university.In case there should be an exam under special provisions, the exam shall be taken in accordance with such provisions.
Article 32 The Foreign Student Affairs Office shall be responsible for their interpretation.
Article 33 These rules and regulations shall be executive as of the date of promulgation .
